Why Our Gemedy Bromelain?

Soothe, Breathe, Speak Easy
Clinical Study 1 – Knee comfort & function (WOMAC) over 30 days
Bromelain for mild acute knee pain. (Walker AF et al., Phytomedicine, 2002)
Design: Open-label, parallel groups; outcomes tracked over 30 days.
Participants: 126 otherwise healthy adults with mild acute knee pain.
Intervention: Oral bromelain.
What is WOMAC: A simple knee health index combining pain, stiffness, and daily function (e.g., getting up, walking, stairs). Lower scores = better.
Key findings (Day 30):
- 59% reduction in total WOMAC score.
- 68% improvement in knee pain.
What this means: Participants reported less knee pain and stiffness and found everyday movements easier after 30 days of bromelain.
Clinical Study 2 – Post-Procedure Pain Reduction
Comparison of bromelain vs diclofenac (pain killer) on post-operative pain after root-canal therapy. (Sharma et al., 2020; Cureus)
Design: Randomized, double-blind, parallel-group trial; pain/function tracked over 6–72 hours.
Participants: 100 adults undergoing root-canal therapy.
Interventions: Bromelain 200 mg vs diclofenac 50 mg.

Key findings: Significant pain reduction with bromelain at 6–48 h (p values shown in figure); about 90% pain reduction by 48 h. Function over 6–72 h was comparable between bromelain and diclofenac (pain killer).
